چکیده
Abstract Hydrodesulfurization of thiophene has been studied over alumina supported sulfided molybdena, nickel-promoted molybdena and nickel (Mo, NiMo Ni) catalysts. The experiments were carried out with a mixture thiophene, labeled radioactive carbon (thiophene-[G-]- 14 C) non-radioactive tetrahydrothiophene (1:1 mol ratio) in micro catalytic system. It was established, that the main products tetrahydrothiophene- C, 1-butene- 2-butene- butane- C. Tetrahydrothiophene- C major intermediate conversion thiophene— experimental condition applied. amounts converted on catalysts substantially higher than those under same conditions. Hydrothiophene dihydrothiophene— hydrodesulfurization tetrahydrothiophene. hydrodesulphurization paired dehydrogenation, producing small thiophene. results have considered discussion mechanism desulfurization reaction pathway.

Reaction of dicarbomethoxycarbene with thiophene derivatives.
Photolysis of derivatives of dimethylmalonate thiophene-S,C-ylide provides dicarbomethoxycarbene, which can react with thiophene to form dimethyl (2-thienyl)malonate. By generation of dicarbomethoxycarbene from the dibenzothiophene-based ylide in neat thiophene, it is shown that the thienylmalonate is not a product of rearrangement of the thiophene ylide, in contrast to thermolysis results. For...
متن کاملMechanism and Site Requirements of Thiophene Hydrodesulfurization Catalyzed by Supported Pt Clusters
Hydrodesulfurization (HDS) processes remove sulfur atoms from hydrocarbons by chemical reduction to hydrogen sulfide using H2 with transition metals and their sulfides as catalysts. Mechanistic and structural insights, concerning reaction pathways and catalysts, respectively, are required to design more effective HDS catalysts, with higher rates at lower H2 pressures, so as to meet emerging req...
متن کاملThiophene hydrodesulfurization catalysis on supported Ru clusters: Mechanism and site requirements for hydrogenation and desulfurization pathways
Kinetic and isotopic methods were used to probe elementary steps and site requirements for thiophene hydrogenation and desulfurization on Ru metal clusters. Turnover rates for these reactions were unaffected by whether samples were treated in H2 or H2S to form metal and sulfide clusters, respectively, before reaction. These data, taken together with the rate and extent of sulfur removal from us...
متن کاملNew azaborine-thiophene heteroacenes.
A new class of heteroacenes containing B, N and S elements in the 22-electron aromatic nucleus has been synthesized by reaction of diaminoterthiophenes with dichlorophenylborane. Their structure was studied by X-ray crystallography and DFT calculations. UV-Vis absorption /emission spectroscopy shows high rigidity and deep-blue fluorescence of these compounds.
